Two Deletion OptionsRecidy offers two separate deletion options depending on your needs:
Option 1: Delete Data Only
Removes all your organizations and files while keeping your account active. You can continue to use Recidy and create new data.
Ideal if you want a fresh start but keep your account.
Option 2: Delete Account
Permanently removes your account and all data. You will lose access and cannot sign in again with this account.
This is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to DeleteBoth options are available in the app's Profile settings:
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Open the Recidy app on your device
- Tap the Avatar icon to open Settings
- Tap Manage account
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section
- Choose your option:
- Delete data - Removes organizations and files only
- Delete account - Removes everything including your account
- If enabled, complete biometric authentication
- Sign in again to verify your identity
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
⚠️ Both deletions are immediate. Once confirmed, the action happens instantly and cannot be recovered.
What Gets Deleted:
When you delete data:
- Organizations: All business profiles and personal accounts (Note: Personal organizations cannot be deleted individually from the organization screen, but are included in this user-level data deletion)
- Financial records: Invoices, receipts, expenses, and reports
- Files: All uploaded documents, images, and attachments
- Subscriptions: Active subscriptions are canceled automatically
- Team access: Shared organization members lose access
- Your account: Remains active - you can continue using Recidy
When you delete your account:
- Everything listed above, plus:
- User account: Your profile and login credentials are permanently removed
- Access: You can no longer sign in with this account

What Happens to My Data- Immediate removal: Data is deleted from active systems instantly and becomes inaccessible
- Backup purging: Backups containing your data are permanently removed within 30 days
- Legal compliance: Some information may be retained if required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes)
- Anonymized data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be kept for service improvements but cannot identify you
